Crowne Plaza to open new ballroom in Warwick

WARWICK -- After more than a year of construction and preparation, the Crowne Plaza Hotel at the Crossings has tentatively scheduled the last week in August for the ribbon cutting marking the opening of its new grand ballroom and rotunda. These additions will add 40,000 square feet to the existing 12,600 meeting and banquet space. The 266-room hotel is owned and operated by Carpionato Properties, which also owns and operates the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick.
